The Start Yachting RYA Training Course is a beginners Sailing Course and an introduction to yachting. It gives an opportunity for the novice to experience sailing without having to commit to a 5 day course. It is the course for the absolute beginner to learn the basics and enjoy the delights of sailing aboard a cruising yacht.
The Start Yachting Course provides beginners with a short introduction to sail cruising for novices. By the end of the 2 days training Course you will have experienced steering a yacht, sail handling, ropework and be aware of safety on board.
The maximum of 5 students per course gives your fully qualified skipper plenty of time to devote to your personal needs. Holders of an RYA Start Yachting certificate can obtain an RYA Competent Crew certificate by completing a further two weekends of the RYA Competent Crew course. |
